![]() Anyway, it is super easy to put together. I do wish it came with some kind of carry case or the like to keep the discs together while storing, but not the end of the world. It comes with 6 small disc attachments for each of the 6 pasta types you can make. The pasta press attachment is fairly small and easy to stowaway. I have never made homemade pasta before and I think I had it worked up to be way harder than it actually was! The booklet inside came with a basic recipe that we used and was easy to follow. Even if you only pull it out a few times a year i think its a unique tool that you can really benefit from if you enjoy making your own pastaĮasy to use for first timers! I must say, I was hesitant about using this. The cleaning of the dies are a little annoying but for the product you get at the end i think its worth the annoyance. The real drawback is also its strength so i dont think theres an easy way around this. This isnt a huge issue as i gathered it up and rolled it out into a few noodles anyway. Firstly its an auger fed system similar to their meat grinder so inevitably there will be a considerable amount of pasta dough still in the machine when taking apart(the instructions say use walnut sized pieces of dough and id say there was atleast half to 2/3s of a ball still left). ![]() Thats not to say there arent any drawbacks. ![]() This is literally something that wasnt possible in a home kitchen before. Ive always worried about making pasta and getting the thickness right wheb rolling it out but this gadget did all the work for me. Incredible kitchenaid attachment Ill start off by saying i love this thing. ![]()
